Leesville Pond

Going way back...

  Does anyone out there know what ever happened to Leesville Pond?  It was in South Worcester...one end of it near Hope Avenue, the south end was down toward the old Baldwin Chain factory.  It was still there in the 50's when I was in the Air Force.  Went back in mid-1990's and it was gone.  Always lots of rowboats on it, and great ice-skating place in winter.
