Area around Clark is a safe area...Numerous three deckers were taken over by Clark and their campus expanded. Clark has many foreign exchange students also. Across from the campus is a public park called University Park,but locals refer to the name as Crystal park becuase it abuts Crystal St. Area has two Catholic Churches and also a few other types. Across from the Campus is St.Peters Catholic Church. Crime is no different then any other side of the city. The area is noted to have a strong crime watch group who are not afraid to crack down on offenders. Places in Worcester's Past, Clark University. The area is as safe as any in the rest of the city. One has to use a little common sense when traveling around. Check with the local POLICE DEPARTMENT IF YOU HAVE ANY WORRIES. check also Colleges of Worcester Consortium, Inc.

Good luck in your quest for information. check out numerous agencys for information. But I really think you will be no safer then any other city.
