I am doing research on my family, and I am interested in anyone that may have known the Preston Family (Afro-American) that lived in/near Eliot Street (Worcester), in the 1920s, 30s and possibly 40s.
The husband William,drove a truck for coal, and the wife Louise,was a domestic for a private family. They had a daughter Martha and a son Howard. I am particularly interested in Martha.
Other families were Kelley, Hilman, Minister Isaac Walters. Plus a number of Armenian Families (Sorry I can't read the 1920 census page too well). Also, on Reservoir/Elizabeth Streets in the same neighborhood: McGray, Monroe & others I can't read.
Any info would help
