I've lived in Worc. about 20 years, and stores have come and gone, but right now I find Shaw's to be over all the cheapest. Also, I read the sale papers in the newspaper on Sunday and Thursday to see what's on sale this week, and then stock up like crazy. ( I own a freezer, so that helps.) For example, I use butter, which usually costs over $3.00. This week it's on sale at Shaw's for $1.77, so I'll buy a lot, and then freeze it. For something that you're always going to need, like toilet paper or laundry detergent, never pay full price. Stock up! I buy bread at the day old bread store, and then freeze it. It's just as good as from the market. Also, read "The Tightwad Gazette" by Amy Dacyczyn. She has some incredible money ideas!!!
