Wonder Horseshoes

Some time ago apparently there was a factory or place where they made horseshoes - the type used for "pitching" or throwing.   The back of the shoes read:  St. Pierre - Worchester, MASS.    Can anyone give me a short history on these.........   Thanks............  evinrude110

I'm reasonably sure they came fron St. Pierre Chain Down by GBV heading towards the summet.  Hope that helps.
