You have all been so helpful. I thought I would mention something that is relatively new and looks promising. Through genealogybank I found that the Mormons have a trial site with actual documents. You can search for all kinds of things. For example, they have the 1855 and 1865 Massachusetts State Census. So far, I found that Boston is actually searchable by name and then you can see the census page as well. I don't see Worcester for that at this time. It's free - but you have to register.
