8th Annual Worcester Firefighters Memorial 6K Run/Walk

The 8th Annual Worcester Firefighters Memorial 6K Run/Walk is Worcester's largest community event was held on Sunday, June 10th! It was a fun filled day for all ages and included a FREE BBQ in the park immediately following the run/walk. ALL PROCEEDS from this event are donated to local charities and non profit organizations.
This years charities are CT Burns Foundation, ArchWay Foundation, Project Smile and the Firefighters Memorial Fund.
There was a kids corner with free pony rides, clowns etc., a message area, a silent auction/raffle, and a chance to win $10,000 dollars.
The American Red Cross droped a golf ball from a Worcester Fire Ladder Truck and the 1st golf ball to go into the designated cup, won $10,000.
