I am working on my husband's family tree and I am trying to find anyone who is working on the same tree. The original French surname was Jeannotte, which the Catholic Church has continued to use, but the family changed it to Jason when they first came to the U.S. from Canada in the early part of the 19th century and settled in Malone, NY. They then moved here to Worcester in the early 20th century, most likely to find work. I will gladly trade information with anyone.
